Accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), this program is designed for practitioners and offers concentrations in Licensure and Non-Licensure, as well as a post-master’s certificate leading to licensure.

Through the program’s integration of theory and practice, you’ll become a reflective learner and practitioner. Although the program focuses on school leadership, you’ll develop a broader grasp of leadership and public finance.
Our program meets Virginia and national standards, and is approved by the Virginia Department of Education. Shenandoah graduates serve as leaders in schools throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia.

Shenandoah University offers small, face-to-face and hybrid courses on its two campuses. The faculty is comprised of experienced school leaders with a wealth of practical experience and knowledge.
You’ll gain exposure to the many facets of school administration through hands-on experience in a practicum or internship. The non-licensure track enables private and international school leaders to participate in the program, creating a diverse range of experiences and backgrounds that enrich the overall learning of every student.
